respect? what’s up with that?well,yeah…most people don’t have respect for others…respect here doesn’t mean that you have to bow everytime you meet others,like the japanese and respect here is not about fear of others that make you do whatever they want…
respect here is about not judging what other people like or what their interests are…most people don’t understand that we are different in term of many things…we are different people with different taste,interest and like…and what we do reflect who we are…
some people expect others to be like them and prefer the same things that they like,too and when others don’t, they started to say that this people is lame,not up-to-date and whatsoever…it is very untrue because, the others have their own opinions too..it is unfair to judge others because they are slightly different than us..
let say,for example…i’m currently into japanese song…well,actually i liked it a long time before but english songs interest me more so i’m kinda forget about this japanese songs but now,i liked it back…and then someone asked me, "do you like korean song (for example) because it’s popular now" …and i replied, "nope..i dun like it…i prefer japanese songs right now" and that person said " what? you are so lame…japanese songs are wayyyy last season" and started to laugh and make fun of me…well, i dun like korean song even though most people are listening to it right now because I DUN LIKE IT AND IT DOESN’T SUIT ME AND MY STYLE…and i dun care if you like it,just don’t go around and try to influence me about that coz i won’t buy it…and that kind of people i talked about, is a person who doesn’t not have respect for others…
it’s not that i respect people all the time…it’s just that i dun respect people who disrespect others…so what if i dun like to listen to malay or indon or korean songs? so what if i like to watch MTV and Channel V instead of Astro Ria? so what if I prefer to watch cartoons than sad telenovela?so what if you don’t have Astro or a lot of cash? it doesn’t matter as long as you are happy with who you are…and i dun like people who try to let others down when they see that they have nothing in common…we are who we are…that’s why God created us differently so that we can get to know each others and try to adapt with the environment so we know how to behave when we’re around different types of people…
and please…show some recpect,guys…if the person is kind of person who looks like he/she doesn’t care about other people’s perspective, it doesn’t mean that he/she is not sensitive…no matter what kind of person they are, we have to respect them..and if you still don’t understand what respect means, please don’t even try to be my friend..
